Understanding your onoff Number

What is an onoff Number and how does it work?

An onoff Number is a Cloud Number – an additional number that works with the GSM network of your regular mobile network operator with whom you have a monthly subscription plan and a SIM card.

The Cloud Numbers that you purchase are organized individually – making each number a standalone communication environment. Your contacts are categorized according to the Cloud Number that you assign them to. As such, any calls and messages operated across the onoff App will always display your Cloud Number (and not your SIM card number) to those contacts.

If your calls and messages aren’t working – make sure that you have both of these features switched on. To check this, go to the Cloud Number Options by tapping the options icon (three small grey dots) for the required number. Then ensure that the “Calls” and “Messages” toggles are switched to the ‘on’ position.

If you can’t see a Number on your Home page it may be because you have activated the Stealth Mode feature.... to fix this...

"Android users"

Open the app and pull down on the Side menu. You will then be prompted to enter the 4-digit password you chose when turning Stealth Mode on. Your number will now be visible in the app again.

"iOS users"

Open the app and pull / swipe down from the top of the screen. You will then be prompted to enter the 4 digit password you chose when turning Stealth mode on. Your number will now be visible in the app again.
